XMLSpy Supported Versions

spy.doc was initially developed to work with XMLSpy® 2006/SP1. During the development Altova® released XMLSpy® 2007/SP1, which provides better consistency of documentation by providing Local Attribute documentation in their own documentation sections, and using symbol prefixes such as the '@' character to indicate that the construct referred to a Local Attribute. spy.doc was subsequently updated to allow for the differences between these two XMLSpy® versions. The net result is as follows:

• XMLSpy® 2007/SP1: Full support.
• XMLSpy® 2006/SP1: Fair support. Possible problems with Global and Local Attribute documentation.
