spy.doc Quick Start
- Download
the spy.doc application zip file, if
required.
- Extract the zip file and install spy.doc by running setup.exe.
- Ensure that the requirements shown in the spy.doc Information window of
the installer is met. You can also get the spy.doc
Prerequisites here.
- Run the application from the 'Start/Programs/spy.doc Application'
program menu.
- In the spy.doc main window Options Window, setup the required options. Required are the following when
starting a new project:
OutputFolderPath,
SchemaFilePath,
CssFilePath, FooterFilePath,
HeaderFilePath,
HtmlHelpCompilerPath,
HtmlHelpProjectFilePath. In the the application
install folder is a 'Sample' sub-folder containing samples that are ready to
build, which include typical settings required above.
- Save the project (Ctrl+S) and generate the documentation by selecting the
'Project/Generate' (Ctrl+G) option.
- Once the generation is completed, display the documentation by selecting
the 'Project/Display Help' (Ctrl+H) option.
