HTML Help Settings
HTML Help Settings provide the following options:
This option allows a complete HTML page to be set as the home page of the HTML Help file. This means that if the Help file provides for a Home Page toolbar button, clicking this button will jump to the home page specified. spy.doc copies the HTML page specified by this option file path to the OutputFolderPath and if the HTML Help Project Template is correctly configured, will provide the correct jump location when the help file is compiled. The HTML file specified can be the same as specified in the StartPageFilePath.
The file is always displayed as an absolute file path, but spy.doc always attempts to save the file path relative to the project file path. The file path can be browsed and selected by clicking on the button at the right end of the option text field (labeled with an ellipsis '...').
The default value is blank, signifying that the option is not specified.
This option specifies the location of the Microsoft® HTML Help Compiler (HHC.EXE).
The default value is 'C:\Program Files\HTML Help Workshop\hhc.exe'. This can be modified if the location of the compiler executable is different from the default value.
The file is always displayed as an absolute file path, but spy.doc always attempts to save the file path relative to the spy.doc.win.exe executable path. The file path can be browsed and selected by clicking on the button at the right end of the option text field (labeled with an ellipsis '...').
HtmlHelpProjectFilePath Option
This options specifies the file path of the HTML Help Project Template to apply when spy.doc creates the actual project file (.hhp) that will be compiled by the Microsoft® HTML Help Compiler. The generated .hhp file is copied into the OutputFolderPath.
The file is always displayed as an absolute file path, but spy.doc always attempts to save the file path relative to the project file path. The file path can be browsed and selected by clicking on the button at the right end of the option text field (labeled with an ellipsis '...').
This option allows a complete HTML page to be set as the start page of the HTML Help file, which is the first content page displayed when the help file is first opened. spy.doc copies the HTML page specified by this option file path to the OutputFolderPath and if the HTML Help Project Template is correctly configured, will provide the correct jump location when the help file is compiled. The HTML file specified can be the same as specified in the HomePageFilePath.
The file is always displayed as an absolute file path, but spy.doc always attempts to save the file path relative to the project file path. The file path can be browsed and selected by clicking on the button at the right end of the option text field (labeled with an ellipsis '...').
The default value is blank, signifying that the option is not specified.
